Day-to-day rush and routines call for some pampering in return. Such pampering moments could be organised daily with luxurious showering. The new Oras Hydra shower takes showering to completely different dimensions, making your bathroom even more functional and comfortable.
Designing Oras Hydra started by investigating people's water use habits. The research was searching for features that are expected from a modern shower. It was investigated, what the users really value, such as which water flow from the head shower gave the most pleasant feeling, or which sliding mechanism was best for the shower handle. The target was to achieve a product responding as best as possible to the needs of users and to prevalent interior design trends, told Kirsi Svärd, the designer of the product from ED-Design.
The result is Oras Hydra: a new shower family, which turns daily washing into pleasure. Oras Hydra features a unique style, which suits the modern simplified interior design and is consistent and naturally matching with all the elements of the shower set.
Shower set composed of your preferences
Oras Hydra is a shower family, which offers each user a possibility to select a suitable set that can be later expanded even up to a version with a head shower.
Oras hydra gives soft, refreshing and relaxing shower without wasting water. Shower feels pleasant despite of low quantities of water. The angle of the shower head can be adjusted, thus the shower can be easily pointed straight or slightly forward, if needed. The silicone nozzles of the shower can be easily cleaned.
The Oras Hydra hand shower features two functions. In addition to the normal soft shower the hand shower also includes, as indicated by its name, a so-called hydra function, producing a refreshing powerful jet from the centre of the shower plate. The shower has a rotating spout, which saves space. And the shower hose is twist-free. The hand shower also has silicone nozzles for easy cleaning.
Versatile soap holder
Oras Hydra soap tray was developed, examining the actual use situations and the problems involved in keeping the shampoo bottles. The outcome is a holder, where the bottles no longer fall over or drop down. 'Even narrow bottles remain in the wedge in the position they were put,' tells the designer of the product, Kirsi Svärd. The bottles are ready on the holder in a slightly tilted position. When a shampoo bottle is becoming empty you can put the bottle upside down on the tray, allowing you to use the shampoo by the last drop." If the family uses many bottles and other shower accessories, you can place several holders on top of each other, with a personal holder for each member of the family, for example," Svärd describes.
Product installation is also made easy
Installation of the new shower set is flexible. The spacing between the wall brackets of the shower can be freely adjusted within 740 mm. The adjustability gives the freedom to use the old holes that already exist in the wall.
