The bathroom concept IL BAGNO ALESSI Dot was designed by the Dutch architect Wiel Arets. The focus in designing the collection was on creating a relaxing ambience. The key design element, a circle, is shared by all the pieces.

“Water flows from the faucets as fleely as from as a waterfall," Wiel Arets describes.

Wiel Arets

Wiel Arets was born in Heerlen in 1955. In 1984, he set up the Wiel Arets Architect & Associates studio, then transferred to Maastricht in 1996. He is heavily involved in various teaching roles all over the world. His language is very simple, even austere, but softened by transparency, light and reflections thanks to a very sophisticated use of materials.
